I have been buying K Robins beautiful pendants for the last 13 years. I love the quality of her jewelry. It is inspiring to find jewelry that has symbolic meaning. This jewelry also makes wonderful gifts for friends; ones that they will always cherish.

Thanks, K, for sharing your gift with the world.

We ask for prayers that the oil spill, this bleeding, will stop. That the winds stay calm to assist in the work. Pray for the people to
be guided in repairing this mistake, and that we may also seek to live in harmony, as we make the choice to change the destructive path we
are on.

As we pray, we will fully understand that we are all connected. And that what we create can have lasting effects on all life.

So let us unite spiritually, All Nations, All Faiths, One Prayer.

K's jewelry is the most beautiful symbolic jewelry I've ever seen. Every piece personifies the essence of her creation, and just when I think she can’t get any better at this, she comes out with a fabulous new piece. The first piece I ever bought was “Healer.” This spoke to me because my sister had just gone through a mastectomy. I gave it to her to heal. Over the years, I have given this piece to others who were going through their health struggles or to those who were helping others heal. I wore “Healer” during my own journey through breast cancer, and I felt very comforted by it. I own many of K’s pieces, and each one means something special to me. I am proud to wear this meaningful jewelry, and I am proud to know K – a wonderful artist who truly gets it! Thank you, K, for your gifts to all of us. Neel

In response to Neel Stallings post ... I designed this piece 'Healer' mostly in my mind on the massage table of my friend Ann Miller. During the massage she put on some bird music from South America and I went off into a trance like state and had a past life experience or at least a wonderful visual/emotional experience. It was a long story about a woman stowaway fleeing the burning times, of Europe's 15th to 17th centuries, who landed in South America and became the village healer. I came back to Ann about 6 weeks later to present her with 'Healer' , the piece was definitely inspired by her work. We did a trade after that... and I received many more massages.

The "Healer" has gone on to become a favorite design around here. My most touching experience with that symbol was to see my 91 year old friend Ruth Falls wearing hers. Ruth was a mountain woman who lived up the hollow from me.. I gave her one and she wore it all the time. She died peacefully one day in her car on the way to make a cherry pie with her 91 year old sister.

I just came back from a new moon and water healing ceremony that took place on the hill behind my home. Over 20 women sat in a circle and voiced prayers, asked forgiveness, offered blessings, and expressed gratitude to and for the beautiful and essential element of water. It was a beautiful and inspiring focus of energy.

I'm so happy to be working with K, especially during this critical time in history. K began this Guardians of the Sea project before the Gulf Oil Spill, now it has been more relevant and urgent. I'm excited to be working on a sea turtle design as well, that will hopefully make it into the Water honoring collection.

Now is the time to channel our energy on the issue of clean water. We hope that K's water designs will help us focus on this important issue.

Went sailing on the beautiful Chesapeake Bay yesterday with K and brother Clark. It was peaceful and calming, bringing back fond memories of our childhood. I am excited that K is working on a new piece about sailing - it is truly going to be a beautiful rendition of what it feels to be like when one is close to or 'with' the sea. Sidney
